The brief
Aluma's trusses and shoring legs didn't all work together out of the box. The fix was a single adaptor that could bridge multiple leg types — rather than a different part for every combination.
What I did
- Designed the adaptor to work across several system configurations.
- Designed for strength, manufacturability, and how it would actually get handled on site.
- Saw it through manufacture, testing, and adoption into the fleet.
The interesting part
Drawing a part is one thing. Having it manufactured, tested, and trusted enough to go into the kit other engineers rely on is another — and this one made it all the way.
